Main Emphasis
The main mission of the research of Biomove is aimed at maintaining mobility in health, disease and old age.
The various research topics of interests are:
- Fatigue, from the molecular to whole body level
- Training, of healthy individuals and various patient groups
- Disuse, e.g. due to acute illness, unloading, diseases
- Ageing, in active and inactive individuals
- Injury, e.g. spinal cord injury, stroke, heart failure, overuse
- Diseases, which directly or indirectly affect biological movement
